Abstract
The objective of this paper is to study the biomechanics of the fingers when using a pen in different writing stances: the Standard Stance , the Ostrich Stance, the Fist Stance, the Pinching Stance, the Thumb-Tucking Stance and the Two-Finger Stance. In the study, a pen, covered with Optical Fiber Grating (OFG), is used to measure the pressure exerted on the fingers.
