Abstract

This paper focuses on the application of line in Jackson Pollock's paintings and its influence. By analyzing the characteristics and style of Pollock's paintings, it explores the role played by line in his compositions, the meaning symbolized and the ideas expressed by line in his paintings, and explores the application and influence of line in Pollock's paintings as well as the inspiration and development of later paintings and contemporary art. The aim is to explore the application and artistic expression of line in Abstract Expressionism and to provide some reference value for the study and exploration of Abstract Art.
