Abstract

The article presents the results of a computational analysis of refrigerating machines for thermostating objects at a temperature level of minus 50 ... minus 70C, based on the use of standard refrigerants produced in large quantities as working bodies. The comparison of low-temperature vapor compression machines with one- and two-stage compression on various refrigerants for generating cold at a temperature level of minus 60 C is presented. Rational areas of application of such machines are determined, and recommendations for their improvement are given.
