Abstract
Investigated is the anti-plane problem of functionally graded strip with an inclined crack sandwiched between a half infinite substrate and an elastic strip. Fourier transforms and integral equation are used to reduce the crack problem to a system of singular integral equation with Cauchy kernel, which is solved numerically by application of the Gauss-Chebyshev integration formula. Numerical results show the effects of the material gradient parameter and crack configuration on the field intensity factors of the crack.
