Abstract
Excitation functions and angular distributions for the neutron groups from the reaction 24Mg(d, n) 25Al corresponding to the three lowest levels in 25Al have been measured using deuterons in the energy range 1.3–2.8 MeV and a neutron time-of-flight spectrometer. The data are analysed using the optical model, the Hauser-Feshbach theory and the distorted wave Born approximation.
