Abstract

A 24 hours of continuous observation was made for a prestressed concrete cable-stayed bridge constructing, which with one pylon and single cable plane, the 14000t rotational weight, 70.4° rotational angel, and the 98m cantilever girder. On the basis of measured data, the PC cable-stayed bridge temperature effects inherent law in the high latitudes cold region was studied, using the finite element method. In addition, the subject of rotational cable-stayed bridge's temperature effects during construction monitoring process from different aspects, such as seasonal and diurnal temperate disparity, nonuniform solar radiation or some other factors that could cause the temperature's mutative distribution. And seek to reduce or eliminate the temperature effect on the adverse effects of bridge construction. It is concluded that the temperature difference caused by sunshine gives rise to structures' overturn because of rotatable hinge. It is also shown that the monitoring and analysis of the impact of solar radiation to bridge structure must be repeated, so as to ensure the structure closing smoothly, reaching the ideal state.
