Abstract

Wearing and tearing is an essential factor to be taken into account in the engineering design process. Because it causes changes in the component dimensions, which subsequently impact the performance of the components, wear analysis can be searched using various methods, including the results of analytical calculations and the results of experimental research. A pin-on-disk tribometer is an instrument for assessing wear length. This work aims to know the pin's wear volume using load variations, namely 10 N, 20 N, 30 N, and 40 N using low carbon steel test content from ST 75.
