Abstract
Services, as one of the main means of meeting human needs, were already created in early stages of development of human society. The more advanced society, the higher demands on the quality of their provision. The problem addressed by the article lies in the insufficient resp. uneven distribution of services within a particular region, city Kosice. Services are an indispensable part of the everyday existence of man and society itself, therefore they should be provided at least at a standard level. The article deals with the analysis of whether the level of services is at the required level due to the wide range of services provided within the city of Kosice.
