Abstract

Chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension is a common disease.Because of its insidious onset and atypical clinical manifestations, most of the patients are more likely to be suspected of this disease when they undergo echocardiography after having difficult breathing.Therefore, it is necessary to improve clinicians′ understanding of chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension in high-risk patients.There are not many reports about the risk factors of the disease up till now.Therefore, this article analyses the risk factors of chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension in terms of demography, thrombus burden, medical related events, treatment and follow-up.
