Abstract

This paper presents a finite element analysis method and three interval method based on Gaussian distribution to study the computing problems of random vibration fatigue life. First, the finite element model is established in ANSYS WORKBENCH software, and through modal analysis, natural frequencies and corresponding vibration modes of the structure are obtained. Then, through the PSD random vibration response analysis, the maximum stress under the condition of flight load random vibration is obtained. The fatigue life under random vibration is estimated by using the three interval method based on Gaussian distribution. Finally, taking the mechanical parts of actuating cylinder as the research object, the method for fatigue life estimation under the random vibration condition is applied and verified.
