Abstract
Ram cichlid (Mikrogeophagus ramirezi) is one of the ornamental fish that has good development prospects. This is because this freshwater ornamental fish has a very attractive color. This study aims to determine the hatchery performance of ram cichlids at the Fisheries Aquaculture Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung, one of the places where this ornamental fish is developed. The results showed that the fertilization rate was 73%, the hatching rate was 62% and the survival rate was 78%. This shows that hatchery activities at the Fisheries Aquaculture Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung still need to be developed.
