Abstract
In order to estimate the accuracy of calculation methods such as empirical formulae and Monte Carlo codes for neutron fluxes, neutron dose distributions, and gamma-ray dose distributions in a room with a Cu target irradiated by 67-MeV-proton and a connected labyrinth, experimental analyses were carried out. As the results of the analyses, the neutron energy spectra, neutron dose distributions, and gamma-ray dose distributions showed the Monte Carlo methods to be applicable to streaming calculations at the proton accelerator facility in the energy region of several tens MeV, although thermal neutron flux distributions were slightly overestimated.
