Abstract
For increasing the accuracy and applicability of the simulation that has been developed to predict the pressure pulsation response in a power steering system and uses of the transfer matrix method, this report studies the influence of the viscoelastic model parameters, the hose material and the pressure intensity.Then this report compares the simulated and experimented frequency responses of realistic automotive power steering lines which have pressure hoses with tuning cables and verifies the validity of the simulation.
