Abstract

The simulation of the response of the working parameters of multijunction solar cells (MJSCs) in the composition of concentrator photovoltaic module (PVM) on the change in the spectral composition of the incident solar radiation in different climatic conditions. The problems of optimizing MJSC structures to increase the annual output of electric power by PVM were studied. The simulation of results showed the possibility of the power gain for the modules based on MJSCs with optimized structures ranging from 1.2% for tropical and 3.4% for arctic zones on Earth.
