Abstract
In this study, the growth rate deviation method of potential output and the co integration analysis method were selected to analyze the equilibrium characteristics, the future and the contribution of production capacity supply and demand of the agricultural equipment during 1978-2009 in China. The results were as follows: compared with the general equilibrium of the small agriculture machinery, the supply and demand of medium and large agriculture machinery was more fluctuant. The scale development of modern agriculture machinery was affected by current conventional small-scale, low-end, scattered operation agricultural machinery equipment. It was little that the medium and large agriculture machinery contributed to the stability of agriculture industry. Developing the agricultural machinery manufacture was in line with the international trend.
