Abstract
AbstractModel studies of heterogeneous polymer surfaces are reported which demonstrate, for the first time, the potential of SIMS for molecular imaging and microanalysis of organic materials. Imaging resolution is essentially limited by the spot size of the ion beam (here to c. 50μm).
