Abstract

Investigation and mathematical modeling of the performance of a diesel fuel stabilizing rectification column were carried out. An analysis of the calculation results showed that the liquid phase may fall onto the valve trays of the stripping section of the column, upon which hydrogen sulfide may get into the desired product. High-quality diesel fuel can be obtained without feeding steam (stripping agent) into the column by calculated blocking of a part of the trapezoid valves on the trays.
