Abstract

The phase-shifting and transmission properties of plane reflectarrays with crossed dipoles are analyzed, respectively. The model of reflectarray antenna backed either by a solid metal ground plane or a frequency-selective surface is built integrally with Floquet ports; in addition, the phase-shifting and transmission properties of the two configurations are analyzed. Compared with the single-layered analysis methods, the results obtained in this letter are more accurate in the precise design of reflectarrays.
