Abstract
Multimedia is an important part of todays visual world. The raw vidos and images are of large size. To store them on disk or transmit over the network it is difficult Due to large size of raw image and videos compression is apply to reduce size. for compression H.264 video coading standard is applied. during compression each frame is divided into macroblocks can lead to visible quality losses known as blocking artifacts. To improve the visual quality of video deblocking filter is applied to reconstructed frame. Considering that deblocking filter is applied to all of the vertical and horizontal edges of blocks but only some of them actually need to be filtered, in this paper, based on previous encoding or decoding information, we propose a novel deblocking filter algorithm to reduce complexity of exist algorithms by skipping quantities of needless edges. These experimental results show that our proposed algorithm has better performance in subjective video quality and time efficiency.
