Abstract

Abstract The queueing delay and packet loss performance of priority-based differentiated services (DiffServ) networks are analyzed through the nonpreemptive M/M/m/K finite queueing bulk arrival model. The analytical results reveal the queueing time relation of different priority classes of data traffic due to the differentiated services priority queueing and scheduling control network operations.
