Abstract

With the continuous development of the global national economy and society, the volume of international trade has increased significantly, and the requirements of modern logistics in terms of timeliness, economy and reliability have continued to increase. Due to the limitations of the traditional single transport mode, advantageous hauling distance and organizational forms, it cannot fully meet the increasing logistics needs. As a cargo transport system that can integrate multiple transport modes, multimodal transport has been widely promoted in many countries. With the development of multimodal transport networks, there may be multiple routes from the start to the end of cargo transport. Because different routes have certain restrictions on different modes of transport, in order to further improve the economic and time benefits of transport, this paper analysed the route optimization. The paper first used the nonlinear planning model to define the multimodal transport route optimization problem, and considered the multi-objective optimization as the goal at the same time, then used the genetic algorithm to select the appropriate route, and finally used a case to illustrate the established model. The research of this paper can solve the problem of multi-objective multimodal transport route planning and selection. It also has certain reference significance for logistics practice.
