Abstract

The article is devoted to scientific and theoretical substantiation of the importance of forming national-patriotic competence of future designers and theoretical analysis of the importance of national-patriotic competence. In the article, the author researches the regulatory and legal framework, which proves the strategic direction in national-patriotic education. A content analysis was also carried out regarding the main approaches in the research of domestic scientists to define such concepts as “national competence”, “patriotic competence”, “nationalpatriotic competence” and the related concept of “civic competence” in the system of professional education of specialists. The article reveals one of the problems of education future designers – the formation of national-patriotic competence, which is manifested in the understanding of the globalization of the world and the development of national culture and Ukrainian identity, the culture of ethnodesign in scientific research and creative project practices and its application, based on domestic experience in this area through the culture of ethnodesign. An attempt is made to determine the place and role of the problem of the formation of national-patriotic competence in the system of modern design education in the context of the formation of the future designer’s love for the Motherland, patriotism, loyalty and respect for national symbols. In article revealed that the formation of national-patriotic competence through the culture of ethnodesign in the project creative practices of future designers is a priority direction of pedagogical research, and in order to achieve the strategic goal of the state to popularize authentic Ukrainian design products, which will become an object of the domestic and foreign economy and market, will contribute to the unity of the Ukrainian people, the strengthening of the socio-economic, spiritual, cultural foundations of the development of Ukrainian society and the state, which is a priority during military aggression.
