Abstract

In the present work, the two mathematical models describing components of the climate are examined using the numerical method. The first model depicts the relation between the change in thermocline depth and ocean temperature. The second model is simplified by eliminating the natural depletion of the Phytoplankton population. The stability and convergences analysis is conducted for the modified system. The numerical simulation is conducted with the help of the most proven numerical method, called the Adams Predictor-Corrector method. The effect of the oxygen production rate by Phytoplankton (τ) is illustrated with 2D plots. The graphs of the solutions of the models demonstrate the influence of different parameter values on the solutions. The present investigation helps to work for more complex models, and the model can be examined with novel operators.
