Abstract
Mobile radio propagation at 62 GHz has been characterised and modelled in a sub-urban microcell when the line-of-sight between the base station and the receiver is obstructed by buildings. The measured mean signal level is found to be in good agreement with theoretical predictions obtained from a programme based on an exhaustive ray tracing algorithm.
