Abstract

Induction motor is a complex system, characterized by electrical, electromagnetic, mechanical and thermal processes. For an exact mathematical description of them it's requires solving a large systems of integral equations, which in some number of cases is not worth it. Today we know quite a lot of simplified techniques, which allowing us to make calculations with various of assumption, the latter in turn will lead to errors in values. In this article analyzes existing methods for calculating parameters of the replacement circuit of a three-phase squirrel cage induction motor. For selecting most precise method, the calculating of parameters of the real motor 4AA50 series was done and they were compared to catalog data. Estimation of errors introducing by various methods also was made. In result of research it was established that methods of Pantel O.V., Makeev M.C., Kuvshinov A.A., Moshinskiy Yu.A., Bespalov V.Ya., Kiryakin A.A., Gridin V.M., German-Galkin S.G. and Kardonov G.A. have the greatest error, so for calculating parameters of the replacement circuit of low-power induction motor it's more efficient to use methods by Usoltsev A.A.
