Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out the perception of managers on their own learning behavior and to identify the different learning behaviors that prevails amongst managers surveyed. Whilst the perception on their learning behaviour was generally good, they are however inclined to relying on past experiences to generate new ideas to solve problems rather than taking riskier prospective pathways to undertake learning. Some recommendations are given towards the end for management consideration for appropriate interventions for management development.
