Abstract
A purpose of clinical outcome study is to find the appropriate treatment method for certain disease, and a standard treatment modality is normally developed by abstracting the similarity of clinical response from the different patients. The results of similarity analysis could provide information for the decision-making in the selection of the seed implant techniques. In this study, similarity analysis was applied to LDR brachytherapy for prostate cancer with an operation procedure matrix including patient target volume, dosimetry characteristics and implanted seed information.
