Abstract

The biconical dipole antenna is frequency independent antenna. A dipole antenna is a narrowband and frequency dependent. In this paper a linear array of five biconical antennas with cone angle 30° is modeled in WIPL-D software and analyzed. Radiation pattern, gain, impedance and S- parameter plots of the array are analyzed and presented for 1–5 GHz frequency range. Mathematical equations for the parameters of the array are developed. Values for the parameters of the array are computed.
