Analysis of Inhabitants' Interest to Road Project and Their Evaluation of Planners

Abstract

In recent years importance of public participant to the infrastructure planning has been said. In this study the authors focused on a road project and analyzed perception of inhabitants to the road project. Firstly an interview-survey to both planners and inhabitants were made to understand how the planners communicate with the inhabitants and how the inhabitant participate to the project. And secondly a questionnaire was made for inhabitants. By the questionnaire their interest to the project and impression to the planners were observed as time series data. The change of these characters through the project was analyzed, and also by using LISREL model, the relationship among these characters for all thorough the project was analyzed.
