Abstract

In the paper, according to the result from , it analyzes basic development of retail e-commerce in China. In addition, on the basis of the basic information of net-citizen, it analyzes the influencing factors on development of retail e-commerce, namely, gender of net-citizen, marital status, net-surfing time, income structure, age structure, the structure of educational background and so on. The regression result shows some factors play a driving role to the development of retail e-commerce, namely, the proportion of female net-surfing, the proportion of unmarried net-citizen net-surfing, net-surfing time and the increasing proportion of well-educated and high-income young and middle-aged net-citizen.
