Abstract

The factors affecting the fatigue life of radar structural parts and the measures to improve the fatigue life are analyzed systematically. On this basis, the stress concentration at the right angle of the root and low surface roughness was determined by means of finite element simulation, simulated loading test, and material performance test, which is the main factor of fatigue cracking. Risk analysis was carried out to simulate extreme cracking. The fatigue life of the support materials was increased by increasing the fillet, lifting the surface roughness to avoid stress concentration, and replacing high-strength materials. The improvement measures were verified through tests.
