Abstract

Facing the issue of global climate change, the European Union, as an advocate of the “Kyoto Protocol Emission Reduction Model,” introduced a mandatory carbon emissions trading mechanism for the first time in the world. China has also launched seven carbon emission trading pilots, including the power industry. For the power industry, in the face of the requirements of energy conservation and emission reduction, a green economy and sustainable development, it is urgent to optimize the power supply structure, and the development of renewable energy has become one of the most effective ways. When the carbon market and the electricity market coexist, what impact will they have on the power supply structure in my country's electricity market, and how will they promote energy conservation and emission reduction goals in the power industry.
