Abstract

The purpose of the article is to study the foreign experience of the cooperative movement and, in particular, production cooperatives, effective examples of which are proposed to be used in Ukraine. The study revealed special characteristics of the activities of production cooperatives in European countries and countries in Asia and America. Arguments in favor of stimulating the development of production cooperatives in the economic crisis, as the inherent balance of cooperatives interests of owners and producers allows to achieve their effective work in difficult conditions. The article also emphasizes the democratic and social function of the cooperative movement, which corresponds to the global trend of socialization of the economy.Key words: cooperative, agricultural cooperative, production cooperatives, international experience, cooperative movement, cooperative legislation, entrepreneurship.
