Abstract
The steady-state responses of a 2nd order ferroresonant circuit have been determined and the ferroresonance characteristics of typical circuits have been presented. An efficient, hybrid (frequency-time domain) technique has been proposed for the analysis of the nonlinear circuits. The characteristics obtained with this technique agree well with those obtained with the time-domain Newton-Raphson procedure.
