Abstract

Abstract The development of Jenderal Ahmad Yani International Airport is performed on the north side of the airport. From that, a new taxiway will be available to support the flight activities. This study aims to analyze the geometry of the exit taxiway on the north side of the airport following the requirement issued by ICAO and FAA. The analysis was based on the type of aircraft mainly operated at Jenderal Ahmad Yani International Airport. The geometry analysis was performed on ICAO Three Segment Method and Landing Length Requirement. The location of the existing exit taxiway has not obtained an excellent functional percentage. Seventy-seven point seven percent (77.7%) of the planes are required to turn around before entering the apron. Therefore, changing the location and type of exit taxiway is recommended to maximize the runway’s performance in supporting the aircraft’s operational activities.
