Abstract

The author is Associate Professor of Industrial Health and Director of the Division of Industrial Hygiene Technology in the Institute of Industrial Health, University of Cincinnati. He received a degree of chemical engineering from the University of Cincinnati and later pursued graduate work in physiological chemistry at this same institution. He has been associated with the Institute of Industrial Health since 1926 and since 1947 has supervised all technological investigations for the Coroner's Office of Hamilton County. His present article is based upon a paper presented at the 1955 Seminar for Homicide Investigation sponsored by the Hamilton County Coroner's Laboratory and the University of Cincinnati.-EDITOR.
