Abstract

In the process of English teaching, there are still some prominent problems, such as English vocabulary collocation errors. At that time, due to the lack of systematic analysis and research, it was difficult to quantify the internal causes and types of students’ English vocabulary collocation errors. Based on this, this article first analyzes the role of word collocation in English language learning, secondly studies the types of students’ English vocabulary collocation errors, and finally gives a way to improve students’ word collocation ability based on big data.
