Abstract

The paper is devoted to the problems of detecting extended space-time signals. An algorithm is proposed that enables one to calculate the variance of filtering with lower computational costs than those of the methods based on solving the Wiener-Hopf equations. Based on the proposed algorithms for detecting extended signals, relatively simple quasi-optimal resolving rules using only a fraction of existing observations can be constructed. A comparative analysis is given of the efficiency of detection and potentialities of real systems.
