Abstract

AbstractThe crisis is producing different government responses. Poor administrative governance has proven to be a key factor in institutional weakness during the crisis in a large number of countries. This paper considers the needs of introduction of managerial patterns and practices in public sector organizations and proposes a conceptual approach that synthesizes an effective crisis management and crisis communication process designed for the public sector. The purpose of this paper is to present a successful model of institutional and crisis communication and crisis management on the example of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the role of key entity institutions in responding to the crisis as a threat to public health, which was presented based on research. The paper analysis a data collection model and measurement system, with a discussion of the implications of this research on the improvement of knowledge and practice in the public sector.KeywordsCOVID 19 crisisManagementCrisis communicationPublic sector
