Abstract

This paper analyzes the data of Fangcheng Harbor City from 2019-2022 using multiple regression models to study the factors affecting the economic development of border cities. The results of the study show that the growth of the secondary industry, the tertiary industry, the total amount of imports and exports, and real estate development investment are the main factors affecting the economic development of border cities. It is suggested that the governments of border cities take measures to optimize the industrial structure, increase the opening up to the outside world, strengthen the regulation of the real estate market, and improve the income level of the residents to promote the economic development.
