Abstract

The mast is an important part of all kinds of hole forming equipment. In addition to bearing the load of the drilling rig, the reaction force and moment of the drilling rig, the mast also protects the transmission parts in the mast, including the sprocket and chain. In order to study the mechanical properties of the drilling rig mast, and provide the basis for the choosing of installation environment and working conditions, take the mast as the research object and build the physical modeling of the mast by using SolidWorks. Through modal analysis, transient dynamic analysis and random vibration analysis, the natural frequency and mode shape of the mast and the dynamic response characteristics under the worst working conditions are obtained. It is determined that the mast will not resonate under the excitation of its own vibration and the power head. The hinge joint between the bottom of the mast and the frame is the position of maximum force, and the top of the mast is the area where the maximum deformation occurs. The response characteristics of the mast under dynamic load are determined, which provides a theoretical basis and important reference for the subsequent design of the same type of mast.
