Abstract

In radio multipath channel Nakagami distribution is best fit for data signals received. As Differential QPSK is bandwidth efficient than BPSK and Differential QPSK is more useful in case of mobile radio communication. The close coherent detection performance can be obtained when adaptive differential detection is applied to differential QPSK. In this paper for differential QPSK under Nakagami channel BER analysis is done considering half Gausian Rayleigh channel as a special case of Nakagami channel.
