Abstract

The paper deals with a long-term measurement of an existing double window construction. The measured values (temperature, relative humidity and dew point) were measured near the structure of the window (in the interior, between the internal and outer window's casement, and in the exterior). In case of a rehabilitation of an existing double window, there are possible different types of a window construction design: an application of a double insulating glazing on an interior window's casement, an application of a double insulating glazing on the exterior window's casement or an application of a new construction - simple window (one casement). These window constructions were compared in thermally technical calculations in 2D software.
