Abstract

AbstractTo better control the domain name publishing effect of authorized DNS server during the transition from IPv4 to IPv6, the resolution strategy of local DNS server needs to be analyzed. Through differentiated release of the A and AAAA record of 4 domain names on IPv4 and IPv6 authorized DNS servers, and 6 common and representative local DNS servers were set to resolve each test domain name 10 times a day for a total of 10 days. The results are statistically analyzed to infer the resolution strategy of each local DNS server to be tested. Through the research of local DNS server resolution strategy, the conclusion is that any domain name needs to be published simultaneously in the DNS IPv4 and IPv6 authorized servers to ensure that Internet users can obtain correct resolution results of the domain name in each resolution.KeywordsIPv4IPv6Local Dns ServerAuthorized Dns ServerDns resolution strategy
