Abstract

Logistics industry in China, especially in the Pearl River Delta region, has been affected to different extent as the US unilaterally provokes China-US trade war by imposing tariffs on China and restricting investment starting from August 2017. What have been affected include various logistics factors in the region, e.g. total logistics and transportation, logistics capital investment, logistics labor input, logistics infrastructure investment, logistics technology investment and logistics management service level. The Trade War has made the situation more complicated. Based on the DEA-ANN Model, this article analyzes the logistics data of 9 Delta Cities before and after the Trade War, figures out the development status quo and efficiency of the Delta logistics industry and countermeasures in such a context as Trade War and various factors.
