Abstract
In the paper the current density distribution in the conductor partly fulfilling the slot of an electrical machine is calculated. The problem has been reduced to the solution of the Fredholm integral equation of the second kind. Theoretical considerations are illustrated by numerical calculations of the current density distribution in symmetrical and nonsymmetrical bar.
