Abstract

The work is devoted to the development of an integrated approach to the assessment and prediction of corrosion processes. Application of the approach is considered within the problem of data processing of the dissolution of iron in the sulfate-citrate buffer process. The main stages of this work are the analysis of existing methods of studying the dissolution of the iron electrode, choosing the model for description of the reaction kinetics and the development of a module for solving the problem of finding the rate constants and Tafel coefficients based on a genetic algorithm for studying the process kinetics. The results of the work can be used to analyze the process kinetics of dissolution of iron in different acidic medias.
