Abstract

In wireless multimedia communication, cooperative communication is advanced communication process that permits the exchange of multimedia file (image or video) from one node to another node antenna by using multiple intermediate nodes. We analyze the influence the relay location of the region by considering the symbol-error-rate and capacity of the system for ‘L’ number of relay nodes in a network using amplify and forward protocol. The impact of using ‘L’ number of relay nodes is examined by utilizing simple topology with same power. By simulation we obtain better channel capacity and less error rate and it is shown that the error rate system performance is growing significantly with an increase in the number of relay nodes.
