Abstract
A method is proposed for the determination of estrone, equilin, and total estrogens in commercial conjugated estrogen preparations. The quantitative procedure employs a simple column separation and direct colorimetric estimations. Identity is established by paper chromatography. Assays of typical preparations are reported.
