Abstract
Community participation in village development activities is very important to note. The purpose of this study was to analyze community participation in building an independent village in Rengat District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. Descriptive qualitative research methods used in this study with data collection techniques using observation, documentation, and interviews. Stages of data analysis performed are data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing / verification.
